Taylor
Taylor Swift has become a unique pop star: a star who strayed completely from country music to pop culture and became an iconic pop star that is set to be around forever, and will conquer every corner of the globe. Swift shed her country roots as if they were just a second skin to reveal that she was perhaps the savviest pop-oriented singer/songwriter of her time, someone who was able to harness the current zeitgeist and make it personal and just as impressively perform opposite. The first songs she released like the Neotribute to Tim McGraw were a testament to her talent. But, her follow-up album Fearless in 2008 showcased the songwriter finding her voice as well as a broader fan base. Fearless had a great success not only in America, but also with six platinum-certified singles. In fact, the Top Ten songs Love Story and I Belong with Me were the main reasons for this. However, it did exceptionally well throughout the world. The Swift's Speak Now album released two years ago consolidated her previous successes, propelling the singer into superstardom. In the three subsequent albums the three albums that followed -- Red 2012 1989, Red 2012 and Reputation 2017. her fame only grew. This was a sure sign she had moved to the new music scene where she fit in. Although she slowed down the production of her folklore album, and Evermore released in 2020, she was in the forefront of pop music.
