Dolly-Parton
Dolly Parton escaped the struggles of her life early on thanks to her inventive and innovative imagination. Songs were written by her before she was able to write or read. After 8 years of age, she got her first guitar. When she was 11 years old, she began to sing on Knoxville Tenn's radio station. The same year she released her first record on Gold Band Records a tiny independent label. While in high school, she was able to establish herself within the school community but her ambition was bigger. When she graduated from high school in 1964, she immediately moved to Nashville. Dumb Blonde (1967) and Something Fishy (1968) were her first two charting albums from Monument Records. Porter Wagoner had been looking for a female vocalist to join his syndicated show in the years prior to this. Parton signed with RCA Records and then joined the Grand Ole Opry. She accepted her job in 1967. But she resigned from the show in 1974 when her solo albums like Joshua Coat of Many Colors and Jolene had begun charting their collaborative efforts. Parton composed I Will Always Love You to Wagoner after their breakup. It made it to No. In 1974, the song by Parton I Will Always Love You peaked at No.
